FURTHER FINANCIAL SUPPORT CONFIRMED FOR EU STUDENTS

Friday 20th July 2018, 3:21pm Further financial support confirmed for EU students

Northern School of Contemporary Dance continues to welcome applicants from the EU, EEA and beyond.

We are pleased to confirm that students from the European Union (EU) applying to study in the UK starting in 2019 will remain eligible for home fee status and the same financial support as home students for the duration of their course. The UK government announced on 2nd July that the fee status of undergraduate and postgraduate students from the EU would remain unchanged.

This means that EU students applying for an undergraduate or master's course at NSCD starting in 2019 will be charged the same tuition fees as UK students. They will also be able to access financial support via Student Finance England in the same way they currently do for the duration of their course, even if the course commences after the UK's official exit from the EU.

Education secretary Damian Hinds said:

"Students from the EU make an important contribution to the universities sector... Today we are providing clarity and certainty on their fees for the duration of their courses."
