This event has now ended

Monday 4th February 2019
6.00pm - 8.00pm

Led by Massala Dance Company member Mathieu Bord, this dynamic, two hour pro-level workshop focuses on developing different textures in movement, based on the company’s intensely physical repertoire. Looking at the themes, styles and techniques present in NÄSS, you’ll experiment with natural rhythms, exploring how support and centre of gravity can create fluidity and ease in the body. The second half of the workshop will focus on using breath as a driver for athletic movement phrases.

Supported by the Leeds Dance Partnership.

Tickets: £10

Combination ticket deal: Attend this workshop for just £3 when you also buy a ticket to see Massala Dance Company perform NÄSS (People) at Riley Theatre on Saturday 2nd February. Offer applies automatically at checkout when you add both to your cart and excludes season offer.
