Lecturer in Creative & Contextual Studies

The role is offered as either a 0.8 FTE post with a minimum of 29.6 hours per week or a full-time role with a minimum of 37 £29,792 - £33,538 per annum full time or £23,834 - £26,830 pro rata for 0.8FTE Permanent Closing date - 23/04/2018

Northern School of Contemporary Dance is an international centre of excellence in Leeds offering specialist, conservatoire-level dance education in an intimate and bespoke setting.  We seek to prepare the most talented and committed students locally, nationally and internationally, to shape the future of dance. The School is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Creative & Contextual Studies.

The postholder will contribute to the teaching and production of creative and contextual studies, investing in the education and creative development of emerging contemporary dance artists from FE to HE Conservatoire levels, and support students’ learning across the curriculum. Applicants should have a specialism in Choreography, Improvisation, Creative Work and/or Dance Education.
