Our schools programme is designed to support, nurture and inspire high quality dance in schools.
The Learning & Participation team in conjunction with students from our Foundation Course offer annual workshop and performance packages to Leeds based primary schools. The workshops focus on cross curricular links in Dance and PSCHE, the schools are then invited to attend an interactive dance performance at Riley Theatre. These workshops run during the spring term.
We offer free ‘Spotted’ workshops to schools and colleges across Yorkshire between October and March for students aged 13 – 17 years to spot talent for our Centre for Advanced Training. The workshops include a warm up, taught sequence and creative task. For more information and to book a free ‘Spotted’ workshop please click here .
