A variety of subscription databases are available online for use by NSCD students & staff.
If you are on-site you can access these resources directly on any networked NSCD computer via the links below.
To access these resources off-site you need to set up an OpenAthens account.
OpenAthens is an access management platform which provides a single gateway to e-resources subscribed to by CDD & NSCD on behalf of all students & staff across the conservatoire.

NSCD students & staff can use the DV8 Media Portal to access resources & never seen before video excerpts of works by Lloyd Newson & DV8 Physical Theatre. The videos & instructional materials from To Be Straight With You, Can We Talk About This? and JOHN offer a rare view into the process of making the works.
To access the portal you will need to set up an account, simply email the Librarian to request one & we’ll do the rest. Once your account has been set up you can log on via the DV8 website.
When logging on via the DV8 website please use the ‘Existing User Log-In’ form to access your account please DON’T fill in the registration section…

The IBTD Full Text database is a research tool for theatre & dance studies. It is a comprehensive index of the the major performing arts journal titles containing a wide range of full text content.
