ANTHONY LO-GIUDICE

Summer School Tutor 16-17yrs

Anthony is an independent dance practitioner based in the North East of England.

After graduating locally at Newcastle College with a first class BA Hons Degree, he then went on to study at the Se.s.ta Coaching Choreographers Programme at the University HAMU in Prague (under the mentorship of Jean Christophe Pare, director of the Ministry of Culture in Marseilles) and later completed a diploma at the Royal Ballet School.

Following his training, Anthony established his own dance company Lo-Giudice Dance, which has been making and touring work nationally and internationally for five years.

Lo-Giudice Dance has showcased work throughout the UK, Italy, Ukraine, Scandinavia, Czech Republic, Spain and France.

Anthony was former associate artist at Dance City and was previously mentored by Neville Campbell, Liv Lorent (Ballet Lorent) and spent time during 2015 at Dansenshus Oslo and the Kulturhuset Stadsteaterns in Stockholm with Scandinavia’s most prominent choreographers Ina Christel Johanansson and Kenneth Kvarnstrom to develop his practice.

As a dancer, Anthony has worked with artists and companies such as Neville Campbell, Vivien Wood, Colletivo NADA/Antonello Tudisco, State of Grace and Surface Area Dance Theatre. He also worked for some time with UBISOFT’s 'Just Dance' Video game franchise, appearing on a number of games.

As a teacher, Anthony is a regular tutor on the Dance City Cat Program as well as the Dance City Degree and professional artist classes.

He has also taught for the CAT at Northern School of Contemporary Dance, Ydance (Scotlands National Youth Dance organisation), Dance Base, Pro-Dance Leeds, Zelyonka Fest in Ukraine, ArtGarage Pozzuoli, Interno5Start in Naples, The Royal Ballet School and The Royal Opera House.
