HENRY WARD

Dancer

Born and raised in London before moving to Bedfordshire, Henry started dancing in his living room to Britney Spears as far back as he can remember. Training to be an actor from a young age, he stumbled upon contemporary dance at the age of 14 when he joined his school’s youth company Revolution Youth Dance. Henry gained a place on the Hertfordshire Satellite CAT Scheme before being accepted onto the degree course at NSCD. Since then, he has graduated with a First Class BPA (Hons) and worked with various choreographers such as Avatara Ayuso, Fernanda Prata, and Tamsin Fitzgerald. One of his biggest highlights was performing Jamlaal Burkmar’s Ocean in 2018. Henry is looking forward to working with such varied choreographers and expanding his dancing pallet.

Henry is still developing his choreographic voice, having his work shown at the Royal Opera House, The Place, Yorkshire Dance and being nominated as a finalist for the Zealous Emerge Award. He is excited to learn from this year and pursue his choreography further.
