Multi-award-winning Lenka Vagnerová is a leading European female choreographer based in Prague and is widely recognised as possibly the most talented Czech choreographer of her generation. In 2012 she formed Lenka Vagnerová Company, for which she has created works and toured internationally, garnering numerous nominations and awards including Herald Angel Award – Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2014, and Dance Piece of the Year 2013 and Dancer of the Year 2014 at Czech Dance Platform. As a guest choreographer Lenka has created performances for companies including Norrdans, 2Faced Dance Company, National Academy of Dance in Rome, DOT504 and Minor Teatre Prague. Lenka also teaches regularly and has run workshops for festivals, theatres, dance companies and dance schools on the international dance scene including working with Ballet de Marseille, Stopgap Dance Company, Viirus Teater Helsinki and the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, to name but a few. In 2011, 2014 and 2016 she worked as Rehearsal Director for the Swedish company Norrdans.
