Career History

Pete has been a freelance musician/composer for 30 plus years. He plays jazz, improvisation and classical on piano; tango, balkan, klezmer, cajun and improvisation on accordion. He is also a composer and songwriter for choirs, jazz ensembles, workshops and community music projects throughout the UK.  Pete also works as a music examiner for ABRSM (Classical & Jazz). Previous ensembles include: Big Sun, Feetpackets, Caravanserai, Tango Siempre, Paradiso, Truffleshack, Will Gregory’s Moog Ensemble.

Professional Activity and Research Interests

Currently Pete is planning to develop community-based musical activities in Wakefield,  for example jazz workshops, community choir or local performances. He is developing compositions for solo piano, as well as developing performance skills on bandoneon and trombone.
