Community programmes
To provide community access and participation, NSCD’s Education and Community Department offers a range of dance activities including evening and weekend courses for adults and children.
The courses provide a safe and supportive environment where people feel able to explore ideas and create dance. It also offers the community a healthy activity, both physically and mentally.
The Education and Community Department also works collaboratively with partners across the Yorkshire region such as dance agencies, dance companies, arts organisations, educational establishments and community organisations.

The Community programmes also have performance opportunities at the School’s Riley Theatre.
