Courses
NSCD is a higher education institute. Our courses prepare students for what can be a demanding and competitive profession. The training is therefore rigorous and challenging requiring a high level of commitment and determination. This approach enables our students to continue to succeed in the field of professional contemporary dance and is recognised as the hallmark of NSCD’s ethos.
The School runs full-time courses in contemporary dance at foundation, degree and postgraduate diploma level and choreography at postgraduate diploma and masters level. Further information is available in the prospectus.
For evening and weekend courses for adults and young people please look at the Community Programmes section. We also offer Yorkshire Young Dancers Centre for Advanced Training for gifted and talented young people.
