Come rain or come shine
- Laïla Diallo
“In his book entitled 39 Microlectures: In Proximity of Performance, Matthew Goulish asks: “how do we understand something?”. I was inspired by his suggestion that we understand it by approaching it, and that we approach it from any direction. I brought to the studio the idea of rain, we discovered our approach and followed it.” Laïla Diallo

Face it!
- Luis Lara Malvacías

Face it! looks into ideas of self-awareness and mirror self-recognition. Working closely with the dancers, the work was created following a process of self-observation and observation of the others in the studio. Through this process the dancers became aware of their own private psychological and physical events, imagining how it is for others to experience similar states, releasing empathy.

Temporal Waltzes
- Michael Schumacher

Inspired by tales of space and time travel, Temporal Waltzes is a fragmented journey in which the dancers reveal chapters of a story that may or may not have happened in the past or future. During the creative process of this work, the most fruitful question became: Would the International Space Station not be the perfect venue for dance?

Physical chain
- Kathinka Walter

Making the choreographic process visible in the performance by playfully setting tasks, and the order of their later appearance, makes each performance unique:

6 dancers, 2 directors, 1 set of 30 task cards, 1 adjustable score, 1 audience = 1 unique performance!

draw your mind
- David Zambrano

A touch. A very eloquent hand touch.
Remembering the beauty in the conversations of hands, the exchanging of rhythmical steps, big band music and the passion for dancing with another person; Zambrano takes the history of partner dancing and redefines it as something that could be more appropriate for the modern era, following the influence of contact improvisation, shifting gender and sexual roles and focusing on broader rights for all races.
