Northern School of Contemporary Dance (NSCD), one of the UK’s leading centres for professional contemporary dance training, based in Leeds, is seeking to appoint a Clerk to Governors.
Clerk to Governors
The Clerk will be required to work closely with the Chair of the Corporation and the Principal of the NSCD, ensuring that the proceedings of the Board are conducted appropriately – guiding and advising the Board as required. The Clerk will provide administration, including taking minutes at meetings. Previous experience in a Higher Education environment would be an advantage.
Meetings are normally held in the evenings, with around 4-5 per academic term. In addition, there is a Governor’s away day held on an annual basis.
