What to Expect

Teachers and careers advisors are often the first point of contact for young people exploring creative career options. This event will ensure you have the most up-to-date information about NSCD’s pathways, support and opportunities delivered through interactive activity, workshops and performance.

Participants will experience first-hand what NSCD has to offer, with time to ask questions, exchange ideas and walk away equipped with fresh skills, innovative ideas, and creative processes to inspire and support your students.

What You Will Gain

• A clear overview of NSCD’s courses and progression routes, from Learning & Participation classes and the CAT Scheme to Undergraduate study.
• Insight into student support and access schemes, including financial assistance, application fee waivers and targeted initiatives such as INSPIRE and ELEVATE.
• Take part in a choreographic dance workshop and enhance your toolbox with new ideas and creative processes to share and support your students when creating their own dances for GCSE / A Level or BTEC dance.  
• Networking opportunities with peers and members of the NSCD team (light refreshments provided).
• Opportunity to watch BA2 show NEW GROUND at Riley Theatre.
