ALICE HEIMSTAEDT

Dancer

"I feel dance is just a part of myself, that has grown from when I was a kid to now. It has never stop evolving, changing, shaping, and without it I feel empty, unable to share my emotions, my thoughts and my creativity."

Swiss dancer, Alice (she/her) started dance in Lausanne at age ten, in a pre-professional program, AFJD. While training in ballet, she also discovered various dance styles, such as modern, jazz, character, theatre as well as singing.

At sixteen, she went on to train in contemporary and ballet at Ecole Nationale de Danse de Marseille, where she received a CFEC (certificate de fin d’études chorégraphiques) as part as her training.

After two years, she moved back to Switzerland to join Dance AREA Jeune Ballet in Geneva. Alongside technical classes, she took part in various creation processes and worked with choreographers Blenard Azizaj, Claude Brumachon, Benjamin Lamarche, and Kristian Lever.
