ALLEGRA VISTALLI

Dancer

“I dance because it gives me the power to embrace myself; I also feel embraced by it, with no judgments and no limits. Dance is so unique and generous that it is indeed my favourite language to speak.”

Allegra (she/her) started dance in a small village near Florence, Italy. She continued studying contemporary dance at the Victor Ullate Escuela in Madrid before joining Northern School of Contemporary Dance, where she graduated with a First Class Honours degree.

During her training, she worked with choreographers such as Phil Sanger, Thick&Tight, Joseph Mercier and Imogen Reeve, Matthieu Geffré. In her third year, Allegra had the opportunity to be a residency with Akram Khan and Mavin Koo for the research and development of the recent work “Jungle Book: reimagined”.
