AUDREY CHUA

Dancer

Born in Malaysia, Audrey began dancing at the age of 6. She took classes in ballet, modern and tap dance, focusing on training in classical ballet at age 13. She had the opportunity to perform as part of the corps de ballet in a production of La Bayadère in Istana Budaya with guest principle artists such as Adiarys Almeida, Ashley Ellis and Joseph Gatti.

Interested in contemporary dance, she continued her training at Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance, beginning her exploration of movement there at age 16. During her time at Rambert School, she worked with and performed pieces by choreographers such as Rafael Bonachela, Jason Mabana and Martin Lawrence, graduating with a first class BA (Hons) in 2019.
