Born in Birmingham, Chelsea developed her love for dance through listening to the traditional West Indian music played in her family home. At age 14 Chelsea became a member of ACE Youth, performing works by Douglas Thorpe and Jamaal Burkmar. She continued her training on the Foundation course at Northern School of Contemporary Dance and gained her Bachelor’s degree at London Contemporary Dance School. During her time at LCDS, Chelsea worked with artists such as Holly Blakey, Saju Hari and Leila McMillan.
Chelsea graduated with honours and began to collaborate with industry professionals, including a recent performance at Latitude Festival, working with Laura Kriefman in partnership with Compass Presents.
