Kate grew up in Leeds where she began training at a local dance school. She went on to join the CAT scheme at Northern School of Contemporary Dance, later joining the BA course where she graduated with a First Class Honours degree in 2022.
Throughout her training at NSCD Kate had the opportunity to work with artists such as Phil Sanger, Fubunation, Toussaint To Move and Douglas Thorpe.
"I dance because it’s yummy. When dancing I’m able to be fully present, indulging in how I am feeling in that unique moment. It gives me a sense of freedom I haven’t experienced from anything else as I can just be myself."
