After completing the BA (Hons) in Dance (Contemporary) course in 2013 at NSCD, Margherita went on to do the MA in Contemporary Dance Performance with VERVE.
Margherita grew up in Italy, where she discovered contact improvisation, ballet and contemporary at the age of 12.
As part of VERVE, she performed choreography by Angus Balbernie, Frauke Requardt, James Wilton and Ben Wright and went on tour in the UK and Europe in Spring/Summer 2013.
Since then she has been working as a freelance artist, including projects with Gary Clarke Dance Company, DeNada Dance Theatre, Flora Wiegmann (USA), Collettivo Cinetico (Italy) and Zappala Danza (Italy). She has also been developing her own choreography, supported by Yorkshire Dance and East Street Arts, and performed a self-choreographed solo at Agitart Festival (Spain) in summer 2014.
