Roberto is originally from Norma, in Italy where he studied ballet at Associazione Culturale Movimento e Danza di Raffaella di Vincenzo. He continued his training in Contemporary Dance at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London, graduating with a First-Class Honours Degree in 2020. While at Trinity Laban he performed works by Lizzi Kew-Ross, Tony Thatcher and Ania Straczynska. During his third year, Roberto became an apprentice for Summit Dance Theatre, performing Drumstick and Nacht by Alison Curtis-Jones. In August 2020, together with Ilaria Ignesti, he collaborated with musicians from the Royal Academy of Music in London for the creation of a dance&music project in Doganella Di Ninfa.
