Sara is a certified transmitter of Yvonne Rainer’s repertoire and has presented her own choreographic work at the Hammer Museum, Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego, REDCAT, Perth Institute of Contemporary Art, Performance Space, Sydney, and the New Museum, NYC. She serves on the Independent Dance Committee at Equity and writes on labour rights and fair pay for dance artists. She holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from the Department of World Arts and Cultures at the University of California, Los Angeles and has a chapter in the new book Transmissions in Dance: Contemporary Staging Practices (November 2017) by L.
