The BA2 students of NSCD present Flockfest 2026 BIVOUAC, a seductive, unpredictable and alive night of performances. Prepare to be immersed in a vibrant cabaret atmosphere, where bold contemporary dance and playful interactive moments blur the line between performer and spectator.
Evening schedule:
Doors at 6.30pm: Arrive into an immersive performance from a range of acts in the foyer
From 7pm in Riley Theatre: Expect magic acts, mimes, Deanne on pole and Isla serenading the audience too. There will also be a showcase of duets from first year students on NSCD's BA (Hons) Dance (Contemporary), a drag performance from Robynne Ryske and a Jazz ensemble from the Speding collective. Rounding the event off, Josh will be mixing things up on the decks.
Expect the unexpected. Each year, students in their second year of the BA (Hons) Dance (Contemporary) course at NSCD curate and produce their very own festival of live art and performance.
With free rein to design and develop their programme, who knows what will happen!
