Jack Richardson - Northern School of Contemporary Dance

JACK RICHARDSON

Dancer

Born in Colchester, Jack’s first experience in dance was watching his sister’s ballet classes at the age of 8, where he had a desire to try something new. This led to Jack joining DanceEast, which introduced him to contemporary dance, slowly building an appreciation for it.

Jack graduated from Northern School of Contemporary Dance in the summer of 2020. During Jack’s time at NSCD he has grown an interest in developing his teaching practice as well as exploring freeing movement in restricted situations and circumstances.

Outside of training, Jack has had the opportunity to work with Douglas Thorpe as an apprentice artist as well as perform in the New Adventures production of Romeo and Juliet.
