At age 16, Laura became a member of Hampshire Youth Dance Company where she performed works by Tory East and Richard Alston. She began training at NSCD in 2016 on the Access to Higher Education course and later studied on the BA (Hons) course, graduating in 2020 with a First Class Honours degree. During her training, Laura enjoyed creating her own work, as well as performing in works by Gary Clarke, Patricia Okwena and Lea Anderson MBE. In 2020, Laura worked as a dance artist for GradLab performing in No One Bloody Cares! by choreographer Betty Maguire.
