Penny Cooper is a British contemporary dancer and performer who likes to keep things curious, expressive, and ever evolving. Her movement is informed by sensation, musicality, and a fascination with the many ways the body can communicate. Trained at the Institute of the Arts Barcelona, Penny has performed across stage, film and site-specific work, enjoying the different worlds each setting creates. She is particularly drawn to dynamic, theatrical movement and contrasting styles. Her practice is enriched through connecting with artists, travelling and welcoming new perspectives. She is interested in the spaces between what is felt and seen, where movement becomes language.
