ROSE LEWIS

Dancer

Born in Newcastle, Rose began dancing at the age of 3, training in a variety of styles at her local dance school before dancing competitively for 8 years. At age 11 she worked with BalletLORENT as part of their junior cast to create and tour Rapunzel. She joined the DanceCity Centre for Advanced Training at the age of 12 where she trained for 5 years, performing works by Anna Watkins, Anthony Lo-Giudice, Neville Campbell and Joss Arnott. In 2015 Rose joined National Youth Dance Company where she performed and toured In-Nocentes By Michael Keegan-Dolan.

She continued her training at Northern School of Contemporary Dance and graduated with a first class honours degree in 2020. During this time she worked with and performed pieces by Amaury Lebrun, Douglas Thorpe, Lea Anderson and Gary Clarke.
