Sebastien grew up in southeast London. He danced at Laban from a young age, where he joined the CAT programme. He was also part of Shoreditch Youth Dance (SYD) under the mentorship of Lee Smikle. Sebastien continued his training at London Contemporary Dance School, graduating with a first class degree in 2019 and performing works by choreographers including Merce Cunningham and Ohad Naharin.
Sebastien has also trained at Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance (SEAD) and with dancers and choreographers at festivals and workshops across the UK and Europe, including David Zambrano and Lloyd Newson. Recently, Sebastien has performed with Luca Silvestrini’s Protein, and at Sadler’s Wells with Richard Alston Dance Company.
