Isaac Lewis was brought up in North-East Wales and attended his local ballet class from a young age until his late teens. He discovered contemporary dance when becoming a company member with National Youth Dance Wales in 2015 and later moved to Leeds to study the BA (Hons) Dance (Contemporary) at Northern School of Contemporary Dance, graduating with a First-Class Honours degree.
Throughout the past few years Isaac has had the opportunity to perform, teach and work with many practitioners, some highlights include Cywaith Dawns Collective, Yukiko Masui, Gary Clarke Company, Glitterbomb Dancers, Mario Bermúdez, and Hofesh Shechter Company.
Isaac is excited to learn and grow during his time in VERVE and looks forward to working across the UK and Europe after graduating and in the future looks to strengthen the dance ecology in North Wales.
