Sam grew up in Winchester, where he started dancing at The Florian School of Dance.
He began his contemporary dance training in 2021 after joining Hampshire Youth Dance Company (HYDC), performing in several works, most notably a piece by James Cousins that was later adapted into the dance short film entitled The Cabaret. Sam continued his training at Trinity Laban in 2022, where he found his love for production and choreography and graduated with a First-Class Honours Degree.
Sam has worked with and performed works by Monique Jonas (Jona Dance), Alleyne Dance, Marina Collard, Amanda Gough for the Tim Burton Exhibition in the Design Museum London, Merce Cunningham (Re-staged by Daniel Squire), and Gary Lambert.
