Sophie grew up in Lewes, East Sussex and started dancing at her local dance school. At 16, she joined Smikle Youth Dance to further her contemporary dance training, and shortly after joined Project Female Dance Company, where she discovered her love for commercial and Hip-Hop as well as continuing to further her training in contemporary dance.
She completed BA (Hons) Dance (Contemporary) at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance. During her time at NSCD she had the opportunity to perform works by Bruce Wong, Thanh-Tú ‘Sattva’ Nguyễn and Ben Duke, as well as working with companies such as Hofesh Schechter Company and Gary Clarke Company. She also had the opportunity to tour Dr Joseph Mercier’s PopOdyssey with Glitterbomb Dancers.
