CHIARA DUCCINI

she/her

“I dance because it allows me to find the most hidden and vivid meaning of what I experience. It is like a riddle with endless answers to guess. I see dance as evolution.“

Originally from Italy, Chiara grew up in a small village near Florence. She started studying ballet and contemporary from an early age. In 2018, she received a scholarship for an intensive training programme at The Place where she spent a month training in London and performed a piece by Luke Brown. In 2020, she joined the BA at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance where she graduated with a First Class Honours degree. During her time in London she worked with choreographers Akeim Toussaint Buck and Rahel Vonmoos. She also performed Rosemary Butcher’s repertoire, studied with Lauren Potter and Henry Montes.

In 2021, she joined two dance collectives, muZo Dance Company and Dance Film Performance. In 2022, she performed at Resolution Festival at The Place.
