Ellie was born in Newcastle and began her dance training from an early age. Aged 12 she joined the Centre for Advanced Training (CAT) scheme at Dance City, where she trained for six years working with the likes of Anthony Lo-Giudice, Mathieu Geffré and Extended Play.
Ellie then went on to complete BA (Hons) Dance (Contemporary) at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance (NSCD), where she graduated with a First Class Honours. During her time here she worked with many artists and companies such as Matteo Marfoglia, Fabio Liberti and Hofesh Shechter, as well as touring Dr Joseph Mercier’s PopOdyssey with the Glitterbomb Dancers.
