“I dance because it allows me to find a deeper connection to my body. Where I can push the boundaries of my body’s physicality and creativity in an environment that allows me to express my authentic self through movement. “

Originally from Hong Kong, Jason began to dance at the age of 6 where he trained in multiple genres. At 17 he began formal training in ballet and contemporary dance at Swindon Dance Centre for Advanced Training . He was a student there for a year before moving to London to continue his training at London Contemporary Dance School (LCDS), untimely graduating with a First Class Honours degree in 2022.

Jason had the opportunity to work with many different artists during his time at LCDS, most prominently with Richard Alston, Anthony Matsena, Clod Ensemble, James Cousin, Sam Coren and even acted as a rehearsal director for Company Chameleon. Jason was also involved as a movement director and choreographer in an immersive installation that premiered at Edingburgh Fringe Festival In 2022.
