More about Conference 2024

In 2017, Leeds created and implemented a culture strategy. This conference aims to build upon “the rich and varied discussions had at the time, the research into how cities across the world respond to, support and utilise arts and culture”. The conference format will facilitate discourse in relation to transformation, identity, what we do, who we do it with and who we do it for.

Leeds is the 3rd largest city in the UK. As a strong university city with a long history of culture, education and arts-based collaboration, more recently Leeds 2023, it is a hub of transformation, knowledge exchange and research, making it the perfect host for this conference.
