As a founder member of Phoenix Dance Theatre and RJC Dance, Donald has worked extensively with both companies; touring nationally and internationally, performing, teaching and choreographing. Throughout his career Donald has been involved in a wide range of projects as artistic producer, teacher, facilitator and consultant. His projects include national and international works, BBC2 dance education programmes for schools, Harlem Dance Theatre educational programme for DanceXchange, Birmingham Royal Ballet, Ballet Hoo for Channel 4, Special Olympics and Olympics Games England. As a young dancer aged 18, he received an Arts Council commission and his works with Phoenix Dance Theatre have been performed at various theatres including Sadlers Wells, The Place, Trinity Laban and Northern School of Contemporary Dance. Working with numerous leading figures in dance such as Darshan Singh Bhuller, Jane Dudley, Michael Clarke, Namron and Philip Taylor, Donald is a freelance teacher, choreographer and artistic producer working with various organisations to deliver, teach and choreograph projects.
