Applicants are required to create an account via our online application portal and complete an application. You will need to provide:

1. Personal information: including contact details and qualification details
2. Your Curriculum Vitae (CV)
3. Link to video footage (maximum 15 minutes) to include examples of your work that best represent the breadth of your interests as an artist.  This may include your creative/choreographic work, your performance work, your solo work and/or your improvisation work.  Please ensure that each extract is of sufficient length (e.g. 2-3 minutes minimum) to allow the panel to evaluate the work effectively
4. A Personal Statement/Essay (750 – 1000 words) detailing your approach to producing work and reasons for applying. Please reference current theories of practice to support your writing and include a reference page or bibliography in a Harvard style.
5. Equality and Diversity Information

Once you submit your application you will be required to pay the application fee.

The application fee is a one-off payment of £20 and covers the cost of processing applications.

Instructions on how to make payment will be included in your confirmation email from admissions@nscd.ac.uk

We are unable to process your application until we have received payment.

We aim to review applications within 2 weeks of receiving them during term time. Shortlisted applicants are invited to attend an interview online. We will notify you if you have not been shortlisted.

Applicants who are successful at interview will be made an offer and have 3 weeks in which to accept. We will inform you if you have not been successful.
