Undercurrent, a student-run project bringing unorthodox performance to unconventional spaces, will be available to stream online for the first time this year.
On Fri 3 - Sat 4 July, tune into a broadcast of live, digital performance pieces that touch on a host of highly current topics, mixing dance and choreography with live art and theatre. Expect an immersive, irreverent take on today's social and political climate.
Last year, Undercurrent took place in the shopfronts and promenades of Leeds Dock. Instead, this year NSCD's second-year BA (Hons) students have worked with choreographer and NSCD lecturer Dr Joseph Mercier to transform the project for online audiences.
The live broadcasts will take place from 6.30pm - 8pm on Fri 3 July, and from 11.30am - 2pm on Sat 4 July.
