These classes run for 9 weeks with no classes the week of half term – Tuesday 28th May 2024

Led by Kate Howden, these classes involve a range of contemporary dance techniques to develop skills such as movement memory, co-ordination, strength, stamina, alignment and flexibility.

These classes aim to improve upon an existing understanding of contemporary dance through weekly reinforcement of technical movement concepts, consistency of learnt movement phrases and advancements/ modifications provided where needed, to support individual learning experiences. Whilst, encouraging participants to have fun, challenge themselves technically and explore new movement methodologies.

These classes are designed and appropriate for adults who have previous/ existing dance experience and wish to improve/ advance their understanding of contemporary dance technique beyond a basic foundation.
