Flock Fest 2021

Click and Connect

FlockFest 2021 is a multi-disciplinary student-run art festival celebrating creativity in all its forms. We’re calling out to makers from all corners of the creative sector, from dance artists and musicians to stand-up comedians and visual artists.

FlockFest is a place for connection, escapism and celebration for artists and audiences alike. We are creating a unique experience which displays an array of artwork that will be shared on and off our website from 26 – 27 March.

All artists involved in the festival will be invited to an online event hosted by NSCD, to meet and connect with the other artists.

What we are looking for:

  • Short films, podcasts and other digital media
  • A selection of visual artworks to be part of a digital gallery
  • Live-streamed and pre-recorded work to be performed over the weekend
  • Leaders for one-off workshops – these can involve movement, drawing, mindfulness, music or anything else you’re excited to share! These can be connected to a piece of work or stand alone.

Artists will be able to attend all events at the festival for free. We encourage work from underrepresented groups and if you have any particular access needs please let us know.

Application deadline: Sun 21 February, 11pm
Decision: w/c Mon 1 March
Festival dates: Fri 26 – Sat 27 March
Where: on and offline (Northern School of Contemporary Dance, Leeds)
Fee: Small honorarium to be negotiated, plus an equal share of donations made throughout the festival

If you would like to take part, please complete the form linked below. If you’d like to submit more than one work, please complete a separate form for each.
