Newcastle-based dance company balletLORENT are looking for 2 dancers to join them on placement for the academic year 2024/25. Successful auditionees will undertake a 10-month professional placement with the company whilst studying towards an MA in Contemporary Dance Performance (PPS) from NSCD.

Key dates:

Applications close Wednesday 13 March.

Shortlisted candidates will be notified by Friday 15 March.

Auditions take place on Wednesday 20 March, 10am - 3pm, at balletLORENT's company base in Newcastle.

NSCD alumni who have worked with the company include Gary Clarke, Gavin Coward, Debbi Purtill, Raymond Roa, James Southward, Ellen Vollmer, Berta Admetlla (apprentice), Montaine Ponceau (apprentice), Emma Savoldelli-Harris (apprentice), James Mounsey (apprentice), Akeim Toussaint Buck, Jon Beney and Katryn Jackson.
