We are delighted to announce the Autumn Winter 2025 season at Riley Theatre - Yorkshire’s largest dedicated dance venue.
Featuring work from award-winning dance companies, an eclectic mix of international artists, and powerful forward-thinking choreographers, this season promises to inspire, entertain and bring a unique perspective to the future of dance.
As we enter NSCD’s 40th anniversary year, this season’s programme is proud to champion bold, original, and high-quality artistic work and support both tradition and experimentation in the arts - the works are intended to connect people through dance, especially those who might not otherwise access, as well as strive to reflect and represent the communities we serve.
A standout feature of this season is the significant number of performances featuring Global Majority companies and artists, which connects to Riley Theatre’s mission to address the limited opportunities for diverse artistic voices that exist in the North of England.
There will also be shows by students from Northern School of Contemporary Dance (NSCD). These performances will explore the freedom and possibilities that exist within movement and delve deeper into the students’ creative expression.
We can’t wait to welcome you to Riley Theatre to experience the very best of contemporary dance. Explore the full season here or read on for a sneak peek of some of the performances coming up.
