adult creative dance

These classes run for 10 weeks with no classes the week of half term – Wednesday 14 February 2024

Led by Hayley Graham and supported by class assistants, these classes give adults with learning disabilities and their carers the opportunity to share and develop creative skills through participation in dance workshops. These classes involve a range of creative dance techniques to develop movement skills and creativity in a friendly, safe and welcoming environment.

The Adult Creative participants have the opportunity to share or perform every term at NSCD’s Riley Theatre.

In the Spring term, participants will share what they have been working on over the 10 weeks with family & friends, performing in the NSCD Community Dance Platform on Saturday 16 March 2024 in the Riley Theatre. Please note tickets for this performance must be booked via the Riley Theatre Box Office.

These classes are designed and appropriate for adults with or without previous dance experience, who wish to explore creativity, dance & performance skills at a supportive and inclusive pace.
