adult intermediate contemporary technique

These classes run for 9 weeks with no classes the week of half term – Tuesday 26th May 2026 

Continue to develop your contemporary technique with us in this supportive & challenging class.

These classes are designed and appropriate for adults who:

• Have prior understanding or training in contemporary dance technique
• Completed a full year of our Adult Improvers Contemporary Dance Technique
• You do not need to be a professional dancer to access this class but we suggest you have plenty of existing contemporary dance experience and/or feel confident in contemporary technique

This class involves a range of contemporary dance techniques, developing your skills through centre work, floor work, across-the-floor/travelling movement & learning technical phrases which develop across the weeks. Whilst, encouraging participants to have fun, challenge themselves technically and explore new movement methodologies.

Where needed, advancements and modifications will be provided to support individual learning experiences.
