Sample diverse dance styles, meet our Course Leader and find out more about studying at one of the UK's leading centres for dance education.

Suitable for young dancers aged 15-18.

Meet the tutors

Antonio Bukhar is course leader for the CertHE Cultural Dance forms course, and an award-winning performer, dance choreographer, and teacher from Uganda. His artistic practice draws on a blend of styles, namely Hip-hop, dancehall, breaking, afro-fusion, contemporary, house and indigenous Ugandan dances. With over 19 years of dance experience, Antonio has worked in diverse cultural, artistic, and social contexts.

Kieron Faller was born in Leeds in 1999, where he started dancing at the age of 5. He began his Contemporary training on the Centre for Advanced Training scheme at NSCD, and went on to gain a place on the BA course. Kieron studied Musical Theatre at CAPA College, trained with Phoenix Dance Theatre and performed in the National Youth Dance Company in 2018.

Since graduating, Kieron has been performing and battling at Breakdance events all over Europe. Alongside this, Kieron also teaches.

Lia Garner began her dance journey aged 11, training in popping, locking, hip hop, house and breaking. Her main focus is popping and she continues to battle in the style today. She is a former member of ADC Collective and a current member of crews Raw Honey and Monsterz. After completing the Cultural Dance Forms course last year, Lia is now in her first year of the BA (Hons) Dance (Contemporary) course at NSCD.

Luke James Bromilow has been a member of the Manchester-based Vogue house ‘House of Suarez’ since 2014, taking on various roles including Dancer, Dance Captain, Assistant Choreographer, Choreographer, Workshop Leader and Teacher. He has worked towards performances at events including the Netball World Cup, LCR Pride (Liverpool), Manchester Pride,  Greenwich & Docklands International Festival and Liverpool International Music Festival.
