Life on Chapeltown Road is the catalyst for a series of dance stories that celebrate the absurdity, beauty and intensity found in everyday moments.

Students at Northern School of Contemporary Dance have made a series of performances and films that pop up in different corners of Chapeltown.

Meet 'The Man Who Dropped His Coins' in Suitcase - the things we carry with us, and find out what it takes to bring him back to life. In Forest of Eyes, creatures hunt objects - forks-are-forever, bike lights are worshipped, and odd socks are lonely, precious stones...

As we keep walking up Chapeltown Road we are warned of UFO sightings in the local vicinity. A dance film Where out there? brings a heartbeat to still places. The Great Gig in the Car, an immersive performance, centres around a playlist of songs, each triggering a memory from a different neighbour. Let’s ride!
