3.30 - 5pm | TuTuMucky Rep Workshop
We want to connect with teachers, graduates, interested dance artists and other dance specialists from a range of genres, including Street Dance, Commercial, Dance of the African Diaspora, Creative Dance, Contemporary Dance, and inclusive practice. We are keen to link with those who offer everything from introductory to advanced-level teaching, from regular technique classes to special mixed-form projects such as screen dance.
We have a number of programmes, intensives, masterclasses and other initiatives in the pipeline and are looking to recruit a range of committed teachers who can deliver sessions in Leeds and beyond. We are aware of partners across the North who are also looking for dance teachers to deliver workshops and projects.
Meet the Children & Young People’s Dance Network North Co-ordinator and other teachers in the region.
An informal space for you to share where you are at – what you are interested in, your background, and where you may be interested in delivering – geographically, by age group, by style and how regularly. Connect with us to share a wide dance provision for children and young people across our region.
We can offer travel reimbursement for anyone attending from outside of Leeds – just email participation@nscd.ac.uk
Join Scottish Dance Theatre dancers Luigi Nardone and Glenda Gheller to learn rep from TuTuMucky by Botis Seva.
Powerful and raw, TuTuMucky blends the languages of hip-hop, ballet, and contemporary dance into an explosive physical cocktail. Created by Botis Seva in 2017 and performed since then on stages the world over, TuTuMucky explores how we are shaped by the world around us, searches for peace in chaos, and celebrates revolt against every system that tries to oppress us.
