Led by Charlotte Arnold, these classes involve a range of contemporary dance techniques to develop skills such as movement memory, co-ordination, strength, stamina, alignment and flexibility.

These classes aim to improve upon an existing understanding of contemporary dance through weekly reinforcement of technical movement concepts, consistency of learnt movement phrases and advancements/ modifications provided where needed, to support individual learning experiences. Whilst, encouraging participants to have fun, challenge themselves technically and explore new movement.

These classes are designed and appropriate for young people who have previous/ existing dance experience and wish to improve/ advance their understanding of contemporary dance technique beyond a basic foundation.

These classes also support young people wishing to audition for the NSCD's Centre for Advanced Training (CAT) Scheme.
