Originally from Bristol, Isla moved to Leeds to gain her BA in Contemporary Dance at NSCD. She is a founding member of Yoodaloo Dance Theatre, for which she both directs and performs, and also works regularly as a performer with Instant Dissidence company both in the UK and abroad. Isla is also a writer, creating work both for stage and in a literary context.
She loves teaching at NSCD Saturday school and finds herself constantly inspired by the enthusiasm and creativity of the students.
