Dear applicant,
As many of you have asked for updates and re-assurance around Covid-19, I would like to take this opportunity to reassure you and your families that NSCD is doing everything it possibly can to put the safety of our students and staff at the heart of everything we do.
The UK is making tremendous steps forward with its vaccine programme and after a second period of lockdown, the infection rate is at the lowest it has been since October 2020. It is the UK government’s aim that by September 2021 the majority of the country will have received at least their first dose of one of the Covid vaccines and/or will have already built up a good level of immunity. We are working with public health authorities to follow strict guidelines which have enabled us to open our buildings to students again this spring term.
It is our plan for the school to be open as usual from September 2021, with students and staff continuing to work together to ensure all who enter the building are safe and comfortable.
